Position Summary

Our Search Marketing Services unit provides marketers with complete internet marketing support including pay per click search engine marketing, search optimization, e-mail marketing and web advertising.

In an entrepreneurial environment, the successful candidate will understand emerging marketplaces and have the ability to leverage their sales and marketing skills to help companies successfully advertise products and services on-line. They will be a self-starter with specific search engine optimization experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Analyze websites to determine search engine optimization (SEO) requirements.
  2. Perform technical analysis of websites from an SEO perspective.
  3. Perform keyword research and segment into themes consistent with SEO requirements of websites.
  4. Prepare documents to present to Clients.
  5. Write title tags, Meta tags and Meta descriptions.
  6. Research and implement strategies for Client websites.
  7. Identify prospective SEO Clients for Cornerstone.
  8. Provide ongoing reports to Clients that measure performance and that provide detailed analytics.
  9. Take on additional duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  1. Post-secondary education, preferably in business management/marketing will be considered an asset.
  2. Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in Search Engine Optimization.

Skills and Experience

  1. Demonstrated strength in Internet and Media Sales.
  2. A proven understanding of web advertising business with specific knowledge of Search Engine Marketing.
  3. Exceptional verbal and written business communication skills with diverse audiences.
  4. Although not mandatory, bilingualism (English/French) will be considered an asset.
  5. Proficient in Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
